Our process includes proper draining with a siphon to prevent damage, secure padding around the empty tank during transit, professional refilling to the correct level at the destination, and adding purification tablets if recommended by the manufacturer.
It depends on the model and the move. Concept2 rowers typically separate into two main sections with minimal disassembly. WaterRower models may need rail separation and tank draining. Magnetic resistance rowers often require console and rail separation. Hydraulic rowers are compact and may not require disassembly at all.
