Quick Start

Why This Exists

Most websites only show you their structure one click at a time through a navigation menu. That works fine when a site is small, but it quickly becomes frustrating as more content gets added over time. This tool solves that by putting the entire structure — hundreds of pages if needed — into one searchable, explorable view, with the added benefit of a live preview so you rarely need to click through just to check what something is.

If You Manage This Website

When you're logged in as an administrator, several extra tabs appear in the right-hand panel. These exist to help you understand and maintain your site's health without needing a separate paid tool:

• SEO Audit — a scrollable table showing every page's meta title and description length, robots setting, taxonomies, and a plain-English list of anything worth fixing (missing descriptions, duplicate titles across pages, thin content, and more). Sort any column by clicking its header.
• Crawl Report — a one-click, full-site check that visits every real page and reports broken links, images missing descriptive alt text, heading structure problems, insecure (mixed-content) resources, pages nothing else links to (orphans), and pages with very little written content. Your site's admin area is always excluded automatically.
• Sitemap.xml — automatically compares your site's official sitemap.xml file against what actually exists, so you can catch pages that are missing from it, or listed but no longer real.
• Languages — if a translation plugin (WPML or Polylang) is active, shows exactly which pages have been translated into which languages, and which haven't yet.

Every Crawl Report can be saved to a file (a "snapshot") and loaded back in later — even on a different day or a different computer — and its findings automatically flow into the SEO Audit table as extra columns, so both areas always tell a consistent, connected story about your site.

Making It Your Own

The gear icon next to this button opens Settings, where you can customize theme, default sort order, how folders behave when opened, text size, table density, and more — all saved to your own device, never shared or uploaded anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is any of my activity here tracked or stored anywhere?

No. Every preference and every piece of crawl data is stored only inside your own browser, or in a file you choose to download yourself. Nothing is ever transmitted to Proscris, NorthStar, or any third party.

Why do some external links show as "Unverifiable" during a crawl?

Web browsers intentionally prevent a website from reading the true status of a link pointing to a different domain, as a security protection. Rather than guess or falsely flag those as broken, they're clearly labeled as unverifiable instead.

What does "noindex" mean?

It means a page has been deliberately marked, usually through an SEO plugin, to be left out of Google search results. This is often intentional (thank-you pages, internal pages) — the Filter menu lets you show or hide these.

Will running a crawl slow down or harm my website?

The Crawl Report includes Gentle, Normal, and Fast speed options that control how quickly pages are requested. Gentle is recommended for smaller hosting plans. Your site's admin area is always excluded, and robots.txt rules are respected by default.

Who can see the admin tools mentioned above?

Only people logged in with administrator-level access ever see the SEO Audit, Crawl Report, Sitemap.xml, and Languages tabs. Everyday visitors only ever see the friendly browse-and-search experience.

I found an issue in a report — does this tool fix it for me?

Not directly — this tool is designed to find and clearly explain issues, not make automatic changes to your content, which is a deliberate safety choice. Each finding is written in plain language so you (or whoever manages your content) know exactly what to go fix and where.
